Ladybird Beetle Larvae I

A black and spiky larva of the ladybird beetle (commonly referred to as a ladybug larva) is seen navigating through the dense yellow petals of a coreopsis flower (Coreopsis spp.). Its tiny legs grip the bright yellow disk florets, blending in with the dusting of pollen scattered around the bloom.
