European Starling I

A European Starling (Sturnus vulgaris) perches on a branch of a mesquite tree. Its iridescent feathers show hints of green and purple in the sunlight. The bird’s yellow beak and speckled chest are partially visible through the web of thin branches against a clear blue sky.
